Board of Standards, Inc. renews CPCC’s CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Certificate Program with commendation

Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) announced today that the Board of Standards, Inc. has renewed its Corporate and Continuing Education CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) Certificate Program with commendation. As a result, CPCC remains one of only two community colleges in the nation approved to offer a CFP® certificate program Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Florida, is the other.
CPCC's certificate program is delivered in a traditional classroom setting, boasts seven courses totaling 273 contact hours, and covers 72 topics as required by CFP® Board criteria. Over the past two years, CPCC's learning resources and faculty met or exceeded all of the CFP® Board's criteria, earning CPCC's program the "with commendation" designation. Full story
