Supporting Military Veteran and First Responder Students

On April 25, 2025, Central Piedmont proudly hosted its 21st Annual Sporting Clays Classic--rallying support for U.S. military veteran and first responder students and the programs that empower them. Participants, sponsors, and college volunteers came together at Meadow Wood Farms for a day filled with sport, community, and meaningful conversation. Thanks to generous corporate sponsorships, the event raised $315,000, which is the most raised in its history. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this event a success for our students!

Celebrating a Life and Legacy

On March 13, 2025, family, friends, and business colleagues gathered at the Parr Center to celebrate the life of Travis Hain, who served on the Central Piedmont Foundation Board from 2021 to 2024. In a heartfelt tribute to his enduring impact, this special group established the Travis Hain Memorial Endowed Scholarship. This lasting gift will support students pursuing an AAS in Business Administration, ultimately empowering future leaders and carrying forward Travis' spirit of service, mentorship, and generosity for generations to come.
