Uncertainty. Nearly everyone experiences it at some point on their academic journey. For Ka'Rin Long, uncertainty turned into clear direction at Central Piedmont Community College.

Ka'Rin came to Central Piedmont on a full scholarship but without a chosen career field. She quickly found an associate degree would be very versatile. She planned to use her degree to transfer to a four-year institution for sports management. One day, she wants to work for a professional sports team in an event planning role.

"I have enjoyed meeting new people at CPCC and creating lifelong relationships. I have especially loved the Student Ambassador program for giving me the tools to be more professional and successful."

"Take advantage of every opportunity you are given. This start has helped me grow as a person and a student. As I graduate, the tools and knowledge I have picked up at CPCC will be instilled in me."
