Road signs in EcuadorThe Project
The medical service learning trip to Ecuador is designed to provide CPCC's allied health students with the opportunity to utilize their education and training in an international setting. This experience will benefit CPCC students with an international experience and the people of Ecuador with free medical services and patient education. The trip will take place in June and July of 2019. The estimated cost per student for the 12-day trip is $3,500. Our goal is to take 20 students.

The Impact
This is our third medical service learning trip, and each group that has participated has come away with a greater understanding of international health systems and culture and an enhanced appreciation for the US health system. Students also have an immense sense of pride and satisfaction in knowing they were able to use their skills and knowledge to help others in need.
