Employee Giving Campaign

The Central Piedmont Employee Giving Campaign provides you, an employee of the college, an opportunity to express your "why." Why do you choose to do what you do every day? Or more importantly, why do you choose to work at Central Piedmont? Your gifts to the Employee Giving Campaign support institutional priorities such as scholarships, the student emergency fund, programs, faculty and staff professional development needs, and more. As a member of the Central Piedmont family, you are important to our students and to the college. Your dedicated work as faculty and staff shapes the lives of students, ensures the vitality of the college, and strengthens our community.

Thank you in advance for expressing your "why" with a gift to the Employee Giving Campaign. If you have a question, please contact the Central Piedmont Foundation at 704.330.6869.

Express Your Why: Employee Testimonials

Herbert Rembert
For Herbert Rembert, a human resource staffing consultant at Central Piedmont, his "why" is simple: He enjoys giving back to the place he's called his work home for eight years.
Everything we do at the college is for students. So, if there's a way I can support our student body and foster our students' growth and achievement, then I'll gladly contribute to hopefully make a difference in someone else's life.
Herbert has been a long-standing Employee Giving Campaign donor. Each year, he elects to have his gift allocated to the college's greatest needs, whether that's student scholarships, program support, the Student Emergency Fund, etc.

"The chance to give back is important to me," says Herbert. "Thankfully, Central Piedmont's Employee Giving Campaign gives me the opportunity to help others through philanthropy; it's a win-win."
Jennifer Perkins
For Jennifer Perkins, a faculty member at Central Piedmont, giving to the college means supporting members of her family.

"I give because I'm a part of the greater Central Piedmont community," she says. "Because I wear that badge, it also means I get the opportunity to support this community with not only my knowledge and service, but also my gifts."

Jennifer has been giving to the Employee Giving Campaign since she joined the college as a full-time employee in 2010. It makes her feel more connected to the fabric of the college its people and its students.
"Giving makes me feel as though I'm supporting the college beyond my day-to-day job duties," explains Jennifer. "As a faculty member, I understand my support of students extends outside the classroom. My gift to the Employee Giving Campaign helps me accomplish this goal by gifting a student with the financial aid they need to sit in my classroom and continue their educational journey. The feeling is indescribable."
