Harry Hartley has heard that once he completes his German-style training program at Central Piedmont Community College, $20 an hour could be in his future.

Turns out that Hartley may be underestimating potential wages for the students certified in the IHK program, which was formulated by IHK Karlsruhe, a regional chamber of industry and commerce in Germany.
